When Did You Last Sing? We Need To Know.
Remember the time you promised yourself that you would protect yourself so bad things wouldn't happen?
Howdy there,
The first step toward change is awareness. The next is acceptance.
Do you know yourself? Or do you know just the outer shell?
Perhaps you wanted to be a singer as a kid (yes, I did) - huge dreams to be the next Britney Spears - then your parents stepped in and said you're funny - and to go be a doctor, lawyer, or accountant.
Years passed. You graduated college with that degree. Got the job. Got promoted. Climbing up that corporate ladder - hoping that the next promotion can give you that fulfillment you've been dying for.
Yet, here we are. Pondering on life's true meaning.
Was this what you thought life would be as a kid? Working to live?
We can blame our upbringings for who we are today. We cannot blame them any further. You are an ADULT. You can make a choice. Not making a choice is a choice in itself.
They say you need a tragic event to have that wake-up call. To have the realization that life was meant for more than just work.
I don't want you to face a tragic event to realize it. Doing nothing will be your biggest regret.
I'm almost ten whole years in my career! It took two tragic events within six months to knock me down and question my whole life and just WHY.

I am grateful that I had the courage to never put my work before my pugs.
I traveled a TON in my career. But I knew how to push back, to question is this needed, and to use my personal brand to my advantage. Many are not brave to do this.
Many think they need to say yes to any work "opportunity" so they can survive another day - perhaps work toward a small raise or bonus - maybe get promoted for the sake of a new title to feel like they are making some sort of progress in life.
Honestly, I am still in self-discovery mode.
There are a ton of assessments out there that I have taken to learn about myself.
I'll share one of my favs here since everyone thinks they are an imposter:
Positive Intelligence | Saboteur Assessment
ALL your stress is generated by your Saboteurs.
Formed in early childhood, these Saboteurs helped you survive physically and emotionally as a kid.
And there was the time you promised yourself -- which you likely don't consciously remember -- that you would protect yourself so bad things wouldn't happen to you as often.
By the time we are adults, these Saboteurs are no longer needed, but they have become invisible inhabitants of our mind.
Our Saboteurs are the lens through which we see and react to the world, without knowing we are wearing any distorting lens.
When faced with challenges, stress or uncomfortable situations, our Saboteurs are activated, and we fall into old, negative, self-sabotaging behaviors.
I got news for you. You are not an imposter. You are just creating the ladder as you go, painting each rung with your authentic self.
Take the assessment. I can promise you that the results will be 🤯
The most significant work you'll ever do is the work you do on yourself.
