Are You Okay? Why Would You Want To Get Burnt Out?
Stop pushing yourself too hard. It is not worth it. Please rethink how you work before it's too late.
Are you seriously OK?
Why would you want to get burnt out? And for what?
Burnout is not a badge of honor.
Yet, somehow, we started treating it like one.
As if working ourselves to death is the ultimate proof of dedication and worth.
I don’t get why working long hours and sacrificing personal time is often celebrated. And if we are not constantly pushing ourselves, we are not working hard enough.
This mindset is toxic. It needs to stop.

This car is a victim of burnout.
Why burnout is actually a career killer?
Destroys your productivity
Burnout doesn’t just make you tired - it makes you ineffective. When you are physically and mentally drained, your productivity plummets. You are not at your best.Stifles creativity and innocation
Overwork leaves little room for creative thinking…well, any type of thinking. When you are burned out, you are just trying to survive the day.Damages your health and well-being
Should be no surprise that burnout is not good for you. Do you know how many people have anxiety, depression and heart disease from this? Don’t be another stat!Sabotages long-term success
Burnout might help you achieve short-term goals, but it is not sustainable. Over time, the quality of your work declines, relationships suffer, and your career will stall.
So how do you get off the burnout cycle?
Set clear boundaries and keep it!!
Learn to say no. You don’t have to take on every task…there are other people in the team.
Prioritize rest and recovery. This is non-negotiable. Make sure you are getting enough sleep, taking breaks throughout the day, and making time for activities outside of work.
Focus on high-impact work. Not all work is created equal. Be picky.
Dude, just stop pushing yourself too hard. It is not worth it.
Burnout is not a sign of success. It is a sign that your life sucks and you either don’t have confidence or your worth is too tied to your job.
Please rethink how you work before it is too late.
Do it for you,
Mary
