I found the top 3 reasons why you are stuck in life (whether or not you think you are).
Take out your fork and knife. Unveil these surprising reasons and break from from...
It's Saturday night. I'm in New York and I'm hungry.
What to eat?
My friends and I pull out our phones.
Searched on Yelp, Google, Eatery, The Infatuation, and Thrillist - you name it, we searched it.
No one had any specific cravings.
So we just kept the search general.
Too many choices, and we are now 30 minutes in.
Still searching.
This is just as bad as looking for what to watch on Netflix.
Another 5 minutes in.
I suggested Thai. Friend said they are not feeling Thai.
They suggested Italian. Nope, someone didn't want carbs.
We finally settled on a place. But no seats are available.
Sound familiar?
This dining-out dilemma is a lot like life. Often, we find ourselves stuck.

Not because we lack options, but because of too many options.
Lack of Clarity: We had no clear preference for cuisine, much like how we sometimes float through life without clear goals.
The fix? Gain clarity on what you want in life. Set specific goals and create a roadmap to achieve them.
Accountability: No one in the group took the lead, leading to a collective standstill.
The fix? Hold yourself accountable. Better yet, find a friend or a mentor who can help keep you on track.
Fear of Commitment: Afraid of choosing a crappy restaurant, we ended up spending too much time picking a place. Options started dwindling as time went on and we were stuck with something nobody wanted.
The fix? Embrace the fact that not every decision will be perfect. The longer you delay it, the harder it will be. The important thing is to make a decision and learn from it.

Your Challenge for the Week:
Identify one area where you feel stuck. Apply these three principles: simplify your choices, seek accountability, and commit to a decision. Remember, progress is always better than perfection.
Time for me to eat,
Mary F
